Pattern Design + Construction :
This luxurious crochet cowl was inspired by a beautiful scarf I spotted at the market and my interest in quick crochet projects. Ideal for beginners, it uses just two basic stitches and works up rapidly with super bulky yarn. It’s now my go-to Netflix & Crochet project, allowing me to finish one in an evening while watching my favorite shows!
These Crochet Fleece Cowls make excellent gifts, offering a store-bought look and feel with their luxurious texture. The soft yarn (details below) creates a stunning and cozy accessory, and they’re budget-friendly, with each skein costing around $12 in the US. Many craft stores also offer 30-40% discounts on yarn regularly.
Finished Size (adjustable): 16 inches long x 10.5 inches wide (when lying flat)
- For this project, we’re using a super bulky (6) yarn that is incredibly soft and cozy. The plush texture of this yarn is a joy to work with, and it comes in several beautiful colors. While I’ve been using this yarn extensively, I’d love to see more color options, such as mustard or pumpkin! It’s perfect for making infinity scarves and cowls, offering both softness and breathability. One skein is enough for this project with some leftover, and it also works well with other popular yarns like Wool Ease Thick & Quick.
