Hey everyone! Feeling stressed about the holidays already? Unsure of what to give your loved ones? I totally get it—I’ve been there too. And let’s be honest, sometimes gifting a gift card can feel like it lacks a personal touch, right?
As busy moms, we don’t always have time to shop or figure out exactly what someone wants. But what if I told you that you can make that gift card extra special, and it only takes 15 minutes?”
Yes, these mini stockings are crocheted, and they take just 15 minutes to create. With minimal yarn required, they’ll add a special touch to your gift card.
These mini stockings can hold a gift card, plus they double as ornaments or decorative accents for your presents.
This mini stocking is a smaller version of the regular Christmas stocking. There’s also a standard size available if you need something larger
Stitches you should know
- Magic ring / Adjustable ring
- Chain
- Slip stitch
- Single crochet
Materials
- Category 4, worsted weight yarn. I used Lion Brand Wool-Ease. For the cotton version, I used Bernat Handicrafter.

There is no gauge for this pattern, but keep in mind that thicker yarn will result in a larger stocking, while thinner yarn will produce a smaller one.
