Pattern Design + Construction:

The aim of this crochet bunny design was to create an adorable stuffed animal for Easter baskets for my niece and nephew. After sketching, I was amazed at how cute the little bunny turned out! The kawaii style, with its oversized head, wide eyes, and droopy arms, gives it a charming and endearing look. The sweet face is sure to evoke an ‘aww!’ reaction!

This free crochet pattern employs simple stitches to craft a multi-piece bunny rabbit that comes together beautifully. It’s perfect for amigurumi beginners looking to tackle larger projects. My niece has named hers ‘Bun Bun’ and enjoys dressing it up in baby clothes

This Crochet Bunny Rabbit is made up of separate pieces: the body, head, arms, and ears. Each part is crocheted, stuffed, and then stitched together with a tapestry needle. The finished bunny measures approximately 12″ tall. For a larger bunny, simply use a bigger crochet hook and bulkier yarn!

  • Yarn: Medium Worsted Weight (4) Yarn is used for this crochet bunny rabbit pattern. It’s my favorite for amigurumi due to its great price point, versatility, durability, and soft, cozy texture—perfect for stuffed animals or loveys. You can substitute with other brands of worsted weight yarn as long as the ounces per gram are similar.
